David W. Morris

SAGINAW, Mich. — David W. Morris, 61, Saginaw, died April 6, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, Mich., after an extended illness. (Pancreatic Cancer)

He was born Oct. 19, 1947, in Anderson, and resided in Saginaw, Mich. David resided in Anderson most of his life and moved to Saginaw in May of 2008.

He was a graduate of Madison Heights High School, Ball State University and received his master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan.

David worked for Delphi Automotive in Saginaw.

David loved his wife, his cats, his children, grandchildren and extended family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Pam (Finlay) Morris; daughter, Darcy Morris; son, Derrick Morris; brother, Tim Morris; two grandsons, Dakota and Heath; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Morris; mother, Louanne (Hopkins) Jackson; and stepfather, Albert Jackson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, with Pastor Keith Wooden officiating. Cremation will take place.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the South Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Christian Center.
