Polly Sue Smith, 60, Anderson, went to be with the Lord, March 17, 2008, at Seton
Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
She was born April 8, 1947, in Overton County, Tenn., and lived in Anderson most
of her life.
She was employed in production at Guide Lamp. She was a member of United Auto
Workers Local 663 and Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother, Linnie Thelma (Phillips) Smith of Anderson; son,
Bill Arnold, of Anderson; daughter, Brenda Sue Dillmon, of Anderson; three brothers,
Art Smith of Allons, Tenn., Don Smith and Ken (wife, Ann) Smith, all of Anderson;
five grandchildren, Katrina Arnold, Billy Arnold, Brandon Keen Smith, Brant Donald
Wells and Grant Ray Wells; a great-granddaughter, Zoey Noelle Lines; former daughter-in-law,
Kelli Arnold of Anderson; two nephews, Thomas Smith and Kevin Smith; and several
aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Keen Smith; and two sisters,
Peggy Lynn Smith and Beverly Gail Smith.
Services was held at noon Tuesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with
her uncles, Chester Wayne Smith and Victor Ray Smith officiating. Cremation took
place.
