Prom - 1964
Eric Edwards kisses Susan Pryor as she begins her reign as queen of the 1964 Prom. Juniors and seniors stepped through a star into a dimly-lighted paradise of "Moonlight and Roses" at the 1964 Prom. Couples danced to the music of the Starlighters under twinkling stars and soft, floating clouds. Juniors worked many hours on the decorations; hence, the Mockingbird Hill ballroom was transformed into an unforgettable wonderland of nature with flowing fountains and bountiful American Beauty roses. accompanied by hushed anticipation, the height of the evening came when Eric Edwards crowned Miss Susan Pryor queen of the 1964 Prom. Miss Nan Nottingham and Miss Jane Whitehead attended the queen during her reign.
Dancing among white trellises and bountiful red roses, juniors and seniors enjoy a gala evening at the 1964 prom.
