Jan Henning, escorted by Joe Snowden, reigned as queen of the 1965 Treasure Chest at the soc-hop following the Pendleton basketball game. Candidates for Yearbook Queen were escorted onto the stage by members of the varsity basketball team. Coach Howell presented Jan with a bouquet of red roses after she had been crowned by Coach Jack Wilson. The queen's court consisted of Janie Wilkinson, first runner-up, and Gloria Gemberling, second runner-up.

Chosen for their scholarship, leadership, and personality are Yearbook Queen candidates - Front Row - Jane Wilkinson, Gloria Gemberling, Cindy Baker, Margaret Wininger. Back Row - Lizann Gribben, Jan Henning, Merrellen Hudson, Margie Kimble, sue Elsten, and Brenda Dishmond.
